How many sessions can I have? What if I need more?

On launch your organisation should have made it clear how many sessions of therapy you can have, either per year or per challenge. If you are unsure please check on your Clearhead account or reach out to Clearhead by emailing therapist-support@myclearhead.com

Your therapist may also be able to remind you if you are unsure.

What if I need more therapy sessions?

Your therapist can fill out what we call a Session Extension Form. This is a request for more therapy sessions which we provide to the therapy contact from your organisation, to anonymously request more sessions for you. These are considered on a case-by-case basis and your therapist will let you know if you can have been granted more sessions and organise these with you.

Please note that not all organisations allow session extensions (sessions over the original therapy limit). If your organisation does not allow session extensions we will advise your therapist when the initial booking is made.

Allocation Reset

You may also be entitled to more sessions when your therapy allocation resets. Most allocations reset at the beginning of the calendar year (although your HR or Clearhead can advise on this). To start your new therapy allocation you need to instigate the first booking of the new allocation, your therapist cannot do this for you. You can log in to your Clearhead account, book with your chosen therapist and you will see the new allocation available to book under 'Available Entitlements'.
