Wallet credit is offered when a confirmed booking paid through the checkout is cancelled;
You cancel a confirmed booking before the cancellation period applies and choose wallet credit instead of a refund.
Your therapist cancels a confirmed booking either before the cancellation period applies, or afterwards, but chooses not to charge.
How can I view my wallet credit?
You can view your wallet credit in 'Your Funding' under 'Appointments'. Here you can also see other sources of funding, such as insurance (Unimed) or EAP funding.
Bookings using wallet credit
If you have wallet credit, this will be used automatically the next time you pay for therapy at the checkout. If your wallet credit is more than the appointment cost, you won't need to pay anything, as the appointment will be fully covered by your credit:
However if your credit only partially covers the new appointment, you will be asked to pay the additional amount at checkout:
Therapist initiated bookings and credit
If your therapist initiates a follow up booking with you and you have enough credit for the booking, the appointment will be automatically confirmed.
If your therapist initiates a follow up booking with you and you don't have enough credit for the booking, a notification of the booking including a payment link will be emailed to you for the remainder of the appointment, minus the wallet credit.
What are the benefits of chosing wallet credit when I cancel an appointment?
The main benefit of chosing wallet credit instead of a refund is that wallet credit applies automatically, which is handy if you wish to immediately make another booking. Refund requests on the other hand may take up to 3 days to process and a further 5-10 working days to appear on your card.
